Meet Some of Our Team

Kate Hicks

Kate serves on the client relations team with Spradlin Search Group. After graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University, Kate began her career at Life.Church. She returned to graduate school to obtain her Masters degree from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. She has extensive experience in planning, programming, and leadership – in ministry, social services and most recently within inner city schools in her hometown of Houston. She serves alongside her husband who leads a multi-site church – Ecclesia Houston – as their Executive Pastor. Kate is passionate about ensuring  that people are placed in positions where they will thrive.

Kelley McGuire

Kelley McGuire serves on the client relations team with Spradlin Search Group.  In additions to bringing great clients to the SSG, Kelly is a successful accountability coach.  She helps people get results in their lives, wherever transformation matters, by creating a customized step-by-step strategy with personal support through every piece of the solution. Roadblocks and setbacks

Before starting her accountability coaching practice, Kelley worked for non-profit organizations such as Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma City Boathouse Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Kelley is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City Class 27, former member of the Friends of the Capital Board of Directors, Trinity School Board of Trustees and Crown Heights-Edgemere Heights Neighborhood Association.

She is a recipient of the Journal Record Achievers Under 40 and the OKC Biz 40 Under 40.

With over 20 years of professional and volunteer work in the non-profit sector, Kelley’s mission is to give back to her community with her talents, whether it’s planning a fundraising event or connecting people.

Kelley and her husband Matt love traveling, trying new recipes, reading and watching standup comedy. They have two grown children, Bridget and Curran, who make them laugh and are great at making fun of them when necessary.

Mark Slabaugh

Mark is a fan of leadership. His background in local church ministry and consulting provides a platform of development and coaching for innovative leaders. In his spare time, he is cheering on one of his four kids at a sporting event or the New York Yankees.

Tommy Karaffa

Tommy serves on the client development team with Spradlin Search Group.  Tommy has held multiple leadership roles in very diverse fields from municipalities to real estate. He is a third generation Colorado native, graduate of Regis University in Denver in Business Administration. He loves spending time with his wife Britt, three young sons Greylon, Crew, Leo, and his Great (Big) Pyrenees Ava. Whether in the mountains enjoying Colorado, playing t-ball, soccer or football with the boys in the backyard, going to Broncos home games or spending time at church, he feels blessed to have a beautiful family and helping people and businesses succeed.
